Whether simulating the aerodynamics of an F1 racing car or the noise generated by a jet engine, Simcenter customers need on-demand super-computer resources. We are changing the way our customers run and interact with multi-physics high fidelity simulations, and our Test Automation Engineers play a meaningful role in this transformation. Your contributions will accelerate the delivery of our applications to our customers and the pace at which our products produce business value.

A Cloud Test Automation Engineer specializing in SaaS is responsible for designing, developing, and performing test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS software products.

Working in Agile and international environment, you contribute to the success of our solutions by:

•             Integrating automated tests within the continuous integration, continuous delivery cycle,

•             Collaborating with development and QA teams to implement functional and non-functional tests, as well as to design comprehensive test plans,

•             Analyzing test results to identify defects and performance issues and generating reports/dashboards summarizing key quality metrics,

•             Writing clear and concise documentation for test processes and results.

You stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in test automation and software testing.

Your qualifications

We would love to hear from you as a passionate engineer or bachelor-graduate in computer science/IT, with demonstrable experience as a Test Automation Engineer preferably related to cloud applications and strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, processes, including non-functional testing tools, in an environment of Agile software development processes.

On top of your technical expertise, you show good collaborative skills and enthusiasm towards working in international and distributed team. You pay attention to details and enjoy working in a problem-solving context thanks to your excellent analytical skills.

To succeed in this position and deliver best in class solutions, you should bring technical experience and proficiency with:

•             Python and Bash scripting language,

•             Test automation frameworks such as Cypress,

•             Synthetics tests,

•             Amazon Web Services (AWS) and provisioning infrastructure as code (IaC)

•             Version control systems (preferably Git).
